In a somewhat controversial SG topic this month, the movie “Joyful Noise” is now in theaters. Peck’s involvement has been questioned by my fellow bloggers enough. I don’t have a side, but thought it’d be good to post this video from this past weekend’s concert at Lake Gibson Church in Florida.

Having seen Karen Peck and New River many times in concert, I don’t think that Karen would be in a movie if she thought it was not an appropriate topic. She, her sister Susan, and Jeff are a class act, some of the nicest, friendliest, most Christian people you can talk to. I have read just a few negative articles about the contents of the movie, but plan to see it, if for no other reason than just to hear Karen sing and say “y’all”.
