Not that we get a lot of SG artists here in MN, but would it be possible for this site to have a listing of upcoming concerts?

    thanks,

I would definitely do that…if there was a decent site out there I could compile information from. For now, I do know of the Legacy Five concert in Baxter on 9/23. I”ll do my best to keep you informed.

        Hi Josh,

        FYI:
We received an email notice from IMC…stating that the Hoppers will be coming to Lakeville, MN on October 9, 2011. I hope I have the information correct!

        Blessings to you!

Okay, I’m the one hosting Guy Penrod in May and I’m dying to know how you found the info on the concert. Also, I notice that for none of the concerts listed above are there links to give people more information. That would be helpful for every concert, naturally.

Here’s a link for Guy’s concert in St. Paul: http://www.bethel.edu/benson-great-hall/events/guy-penrod-concert

We have a form of a non-profit specifically as a result of this concert and am wondering what God wants us to do with it when Guy’s concert is over. How many southern gospel fans are there around here (I’m in a Twin Cities suburb)? I’ve toyed with trying to bring Ivan Parker, but didn’t know what kind of response we’d get . . .

Our Web site is still under construction so I’ll put it in the field below, but it isn’t up yet.

Thanks for the added info! My brother-in-law is a music pastor in the Twin Cities, and he forwarded me an e-mail (which you sent out) with the date and info. As for the SG following in the area, it’s really hard to say. I think crowds are pretty decent for some of the bigger names in SG, but I honestly haven’t made it to enough concerts to know for sure. Marketing is a big part of what makes SG concerts successful, and I think it likely plays an even bigger role up here where there are fewer concerts and the music isn’t as widely known.
