CD Review – The Song Lives On (Jason Crabb)

Jason Crabb has long been an artist who somewhat toes the line between SG and CCM. Because of that, some like him and some don’t. But you can’t deny the boy’s talent.

Jason showcased that talent on his recently released DVD/CD combo “The Song Lives On,” featuring 18 gospel classics and church favorites. Yes I said 18, that surprised me too! Songs range from some of his biggest hits like “Sometimes I Cry” and “Through the Fire” and well-known tunes like “Sweet Beulah Land” and “I Saw the Light.”

The CD is the live audio from the DVD (except “Sometimes I Cry”, which is from the recent Gaither taping). Here’s a few video samples:

If you like Jason’s CCM stylings and love the old classics, this project is for you!
